With a passion for the simpler life in the rural area, Rusty and Glennys of Living Water moved to a farmstead in the Middle Rio Grande Basin around 10 years ago. They worked hard to create flourishing organic gardens, natural plant landscapes, and a new two-story greenhouse where they can now grow and harvest native medicinal plants and specialty garden produce in New Mexico.

Living Water has been a proud member of the New Mexico Farmers’ Marketing Association (NMFMA) and the New Mexico Beekeepers Association since 2022.
About NMFMA
Established in 1994, this nonprofit educational organization was founded on the belief that everyone benefits when farmers can sell their produce to people in their community. It is now a statewide network of farmers’ markets, farmers, grocers, and others who celebrate and build upon the long-held agricultural traditions, ingenuity, and self-reliance of New Mexicans.
Being an NMFMA member allows one to access exclusive programs and resources, including capacity-building programs, custom marketing and outreach tools, professional development opportunities, food safety training, food access programs, and more.
Additionally, NMFMA introduces you to like-minded individuals and organizations interested in seeing the local agriculture scene thrive. The organization and its members aim to achieve a food system where fresh and culturally appropriate food sold by farmers at a fair price is available to everyone.
About the New Mexico Beekeepers Association
This group is committed to serving the interests of local beekeepers. Their mission is to help local beekeeping organizations, assist the agricultural community, promote the importance of the honeybee in the environment, and promote beekeeping, bee products, and more. They provide a forum for cooperation among beekeepers and support the economic viability of the beekeeping industry.
